When we first saw Little Fox’s new Kitson base and their stunning silk thread minis, we knew we had to bring them together. Vine & Verse is an elegant tip-to-tip scarf or small shawl featuring customizable silk embroidery and a delicate climbing vine made from a combination of simple twisted cable stitches. We hope you enjoy adding your own flourish to this piece! Each kit comes with 1 full skein of Kitson from Little Fox Yarn in the Languid colorway, plus 3 colors of shimmering, luxurious silk embroidery thread that might just spoil you on embroidery thread for life. You can choose from PATTERN ONLY option or the KIT option. Construction Notes: The scarf is worked from tip to tip, with the vine motif on the right hand side and the increases on the left (for right handed knitters; left handed mirror knitters will produce a mirror image.) The twisted 1x1 stitches can be worked with or without a cable needle as you wish. Once complete & blocked, embellish your scarf with embroidery stitches to make it your own. While none of the techniques used are particularly difficult in this pattern, there are a lot of different techniques used that may be new to some knitters, and like all Knitrino project, we provide you with videos for each one. In the final section, an overview video shows how & where to place your embroidery, with videos for each embroidery technique too.
