With the closing of Brooklyn Tweed’s yarn production, we’ve been very intentional in what we want to make in the limited fibers we stocked up on–and Tones, with the Overtone & Undertone combos offered us the perfect colors of the landscapes that inspired this design. Spun from the wool of Columbia sheep in Wyoming, this yarn is 100% handcrafted in the United States. Its unique woolen-spun quality gives it a beautiful loft and texture that perfectly showcases the detailed stitchwork of the pattern. We have a very limited number of kits, and once they are gone they are gone for good! By choosing this yarn, you're not just creating a beautiful piece of knitwear; you're connecting with a story of artistry, tradition, and the American West. Construction Notes: This beautiful, triangular shawl is knit from the top down to the point, starting with a Tab Cast On. The finished shawl has a versatile size & style – wear it like a small shawl tied around your shoulders or hold it in place with the help of the adorable buttons (included with your kit!). Then just wrap cozily around your neck and fasten in place like a bandana-style cowl. This design is fun to knit, functional, and a wearable piece of fashion you’ll cherish forever.
