The Coral Reef Cowl uses a soft and airy blown Alpaca yarn to create a versatile accessory you can wear throughout the seasons. And depending on your gauge and shoulder structure you may also wear it snugged down over your shoulders like a shrug. Just like the tiny animals that collectively form the structure of coral systems, the Reef Lace motif stacks up stitch by stitch. This is a fun, fast knit you won't want to put down. For our kits we chose a beautiful hand-dyed yarn in the Mother of Pearl colorway from ōSHen Fibres. This beautifully-variegated yarn is a delight to knit and to wear! Construction Notes: The cowl is knit from the bottom up. The Reef Lace is created with yarnovers and decreases.
