Made from Blue Sky Fibers 100% Certified Organic Cotton in sport weight it is naturally soft, durable and easy to care for. Construction Notes: This bag is completely seamless and uses all the construction methods, including magic loop, knitting in the round, and working flat (or back & forth)! Knit from the bottom up, the rectangular bottom starts with a Magic Cast On and Magic Loop, similar to a really wide toe-up sock. After the increases, you’ll switch from magic loop to knitting in the round using the same 40”/100 cm needle, switching to a 32”/80 cm needle as the bag decreases. (Alternatively, those wishing to knit magic loop throughout may choose to knit on an even longer needle.) You’ll then separate the sides of the bag, working the first side flat, followed by the handle base, which is cleverly knit in the round on smaller needles to create a nice shape and sturdy structure. You’ll then work the second side, and finally work a long handle in the round, grafting the handle together.
