These oversized slippers started with super-fun colors in Queen City Yarn's squishy 100% non-superwash wool. Then, we decided to unlock a new skill by adding easy-to-sew soles to the bottom for a wonderful non-slip slipper experience. Whether you keep them for yourself or give them to a loved one, we hope you love every stitch of the Heart & Sole Slippers! Construction Notes: These toe-up slippers begin with a modified version of the Magic Cast On that prevents twisted stitches on the sole stitches. The socks are worked in the round one at a time using Magic Loop, though you can easily substitute your favorite method for small circumferences. Waste yarn stitches are inserted for a planned "afterthought" heel. After blocking, leather soles are sewn on with a tapestry needle. Note that these slippers may be knit two at a time, but keep in mind you'll have to manage 4 balls of yarn.
