A Little Biased

A Little Biased

From $13.75

Introducing our latest crush, A Little Biased, a colorful & fun necktie that has us flashing back to our younger years. The bright colors and striking diamond motif evolve with the garter-stitch bias construction, and the slipped-stitch colorwork uses only one color at a time, making it appropriate for knitters of all skill levels. The stunning project looks complex but is shockingly straightforward to knit. You won’t be able to put it down! The creative geniuses at Queen City Yarn crafted the astonishing Light & Bright colors of Latta from an American-grown non-superwash Merino/Rambouillet that’s milled in the Carolinas. This sport weight yarn is strong, bouncy and full of life–it’s every bit as as delightful to knit with as it is to look at. Construction Notes: This small scarf or necktie is knit on the bias using decreases and increases at the edges. While the width of the knitting on your needles will be approximately 6"/15 cm, the width of the scarf when held vertically (with side edges perpendicular to the ground) is approximately 3"/7.5 cm. Colors A and B are the main colors, with the darker color as color A (shown as pink in the sample.) The motif is repeated 3 times, first with A, B, and C, then with A, B, and D, and finally with A, B, and E. A color planner section is included to help you determine your first three colors. A Pattern Guide with additional information about knitting on the bias and blocking your work is provided on our website https://knitrino.com/pattern-guides/little-biased here.
