To The Moon Shawl

To The Moon Shawl

From $11.75

Kits are sold out. This lovely, summer shawl is designed to conjure our collective wonder of the cosmos. It's an exciting, knitterly exploration of stitches & we are almost certain you'll find something new on the journey, so grab your space suit and let's prepare for take off! Every stitch of this was designed with the yarn in mind. Fae from Apothefaery is a true artist from her unique bases to her inspired colors. This lightweight, small shawl is designed in the colors of earth's summer blooms in a beautiful variegated yarn, paired with a complementary green, perfect for picnics or late night wanderings. The idyllic base we chose in a blend of linen, silk, and alpaca is a dream to knit and wear. Choose from the workshop-style pattern in Knitrino, or add on the kit, complete with 2 skeins of yarn plus earn your Knitternaut Badge in the form of an enamel pin, as shown in the last image. Construction Notes: This lightweight, summer shawl is knit with a loose gauge on US 6/4 mm needles. Some knitters may also wish to go up a needle size in some sections. If substituting other colors/yarns, we recommend pairing a tonal & variegated with the same foundational colors. Some of our test knitters also knit this shawl beautifully in 1 color. Knitting in 2 distinctly different colors will leave you with sharp boundaries between sections.
