Sorbet Socks

From $12.25

Yarn kits for this pattern are sold out, but you can still earn your badge! From Designer Andrea Cull comes the most beautiful pair of socks we’ve ever seen! The Sorbet Socks - in Sparkling Grapefruit in Earl Grey Fiber Co’s Gunpowder base (Merino/Yak/Nylon) - feature an elegant lace motif on the instep that you will not be able to take your eyes off of! You'll quickly understand why our test knitters said things like "These basically knit themselves... I'm flabbergasted. What a beautiful pattern!" Knitting socks is one of the most exciting adventures you can have with needles and yarn & whether it’s your 1st or 101st sock, we think you’ll love the Knitrino experience for navigating your way from the toe through the heel to the cuff! Construction: These one-at-a-time toe-up socks begin with a modified version of the Magic Cast On that prevents twisted stitches on the sole stitches. The socks are worked in the round one at a time using Magic Loop, though you can easily substitute your favorite sock method. The heel turn is worked back and forth on the base heel stitches in short rows. After this, the wrapped stitches are resolved, and the gusset stitches are decreased as a part of the heel flap. These socks have the same fabulous grading as our Oasis Socks, and are stretchy so most knitters won't require modifications. We recommend your sock be 0.5” - 1” (1.25 - 2.5cm) smaller than your foot in circumference, and 0.5” - 1.25” (1.25 - 3cm) shorter than your foot in length. Check the included size charts, and if you need any help picking your size, just let us know by emailing us support@knitrino.com .
