Rays of Sun Tee
From $18.25
The Rays of Sun Tee from designer Paula Pereira is a short-sleeved sweater with circular yoke featuring an eyelet lace motif. Featuring limited kits in Purl Soho's Linen Quill and with low yardage requirements, this is a tee you'll want in every color. Lightweight and airy, it's comfortable and flattering on all body types. Construction Notes: With 2-5"/5-12.5 cm positive ease recommended, the tee has no waist shaping and is cropped at the natural waistline. The slightly-puffed sleeves add interesting and effortless detail. Those who like extra ease in the bust or under the arms may prefer to size up. The tee starts with a tubular cast on using a spare circular needle, though a long-tail cast on can easily be substituted. After the increases through the yoke, the body and sleeves are split, and the sleeve stitches placed on holders. After the body, the short puffed sleeves are worked.
